Designing your project
There are several steps when you are designing a project. First You have to decide what subject and topics you are going to present. When designing your project, mock- up and story board is important. Mock up is a rough layout of your project. For example, lay outs, fonts, images, music and elements that go into the project. Also story board is one of the main step in designing the project. Like mock up, story board also shows images and audios not the content. In other words, it is a setting of the project.
After writing mock up or story board, you have to make a rought cut. It is a step after you do mock up. It is often called a prototype. You have to place visual elements, and main scripts are created. In summary, it is a step where you put all the stuffs that you have created. Purpose of having this step is to make your projcect more smooth.
I am on the story board stage. I am still drawing my story board. First I am going to start with picture of Orange chicken. It is one of the most famous American chinese food. It was created when American food culture and Chinese food culture met. Since Americans prefer more sweet foods and non spicy foods, Chinese people made a sweet but little bit spicy food and introduced to Americans. Soon it became very popular all over the United States. Here I am going to introduce Budae Jjigae. Like how orange chicken is created, Budae Jjigae was created the same way. Then I have to show the picture of American troops coming to the middle of Korea where 38th parallel is. Through that path, ingredients of Budae Jjigae were infulxed into Korea. Then picture of Korea people eating will be shown. I will be explaining about the Korean war and how devastating it was. Because of this horrible situation, Koreans were tend to eat together with one big pot of stew. Because of the war, they did not have any ingredients to make stew. So they started using all the left overs that American troops gave to poor Koreans. After this, I will show the picture of Budae Jjigae and explain the origin of the names and other names.
This is what I have done so far. I am going to search for pictures and musics that would help my project.
